The 30-year old Miss Yangas is also the mother of a six year old son Oz Xavier, who the author claims was the muse for her book. “I began writing this story for my son, who’s always been my biggest inspiration,” says Miss Yangas. “He enjoyed it so much I decided to share it with the world.” “Kids will love The Bugguzz because the characters and stories are original, funny, and ridiculously entertaining,” Angi explains. “There’s a character that every child will be able to connect with and relate to.” With the assistance of illustrator Claudia La Bianca, each character was beautifully conceived and interpreted. In this book every page of text has a brilliantly colored illustration which will keep children interested throughout the entire story. Miss Yangas is also an accomplished artist in her own right. Her work is featured at the Lora D Art Gallery in Chicago. Additionally, Miss Yangas teaches kindergarteners art at her son’s local school.
